Mutual Aid Community Healing
Join us in a community gathering to care for all the internal places that need tending.
Using the modalities of breathwork, sound healing, reiki energy healing, and havening touch, we’ll offer a two hour experience for holding all that’s heavy, connecting to others in our humanity, and supporting deep restorative rest to keep showing up for it all.
Date: Saturday, February 28
Time: 2pm - 4pm
Location: Wilder Foundation / 451 Lexington Pkwy N, St Paul, MN 55104
Fee: sliding scale by donation $0-$75 - all proceeds will go to local nonprofits supporting our neighbors impacted by ICE occupation (no one turned away if finances are tight - just come!)
What to Expect:
* We’ll begin with a welcome where we share a little information about each of the modalities, in case there are any new to you.
* Then you’ll get cozy in your cozy nests on the floor. Helen will guide everyone in a short grounding and intention setting before leading an active breathwork practice.
* After the active practice, you’ll be invited into an extended rest where Devin will serenade your system with a collection of sound healing instruments while Pam will offer hands-on reiki and Melanie will provide havening touch to help deepen your restorative time and settle your nervous system.
* At the end of the sound bath, you’ll be invited to reflect in your journal and there will be some time to connect back in with the group for sharing and processing.
What to Bring:
We'll be sitting and lying on the floor, so bring whatever you need to feel cozy: yoga mats, bolsters, pillows, blankets, etc. There will be a few chairs in the room if sitting in one is more comfortable for any portion of the event. Dressing in layers is a great idea and you're welcome to bring any sacred items that might help you sink in (like stones or an eye pillow). Bring a journal if you like to jot down thoughts and a water bottle.
